The World Rubik's Cube Championship 2007 is the 4th World Championship and will take place on October 5, 6 and 7 in Budapest, Hungary.
Budapest also hosted the World Rubik's Cube Championship in 1982, so this world championship is the 25th anniversary.

World Rubik's Cube Championship 2007 is an official competition of the World Cube Association.
During the championship the official WCA regulations will be applied.
Results of the championship will be added to the official WCA World Rankings.

The program of the world championship consists of:

• Friday: finals for some side events, qualification for some main events
• Saturday: preliminary rounds for main events, finals for some side events.
• Sunday: finals, winner's ceremony, after party.

During the weekend other activities take place, among others a puzzle market and puzzle fan meetings.

Competing at the world championship is free. All competitors receive a gift pack.
There is a limit of competitors per event, so registration is highly recommended.

July 9, 2007	Qualification rounds for 4x4, 5x5, 3x3 one-handed and 3x3 blindfolded were added to the time schedule on Friday.
June 1, 2007	Competitors from 31 countries now registered.
May 17, 2007	Total prize money for World Rubik's Cube Championship 2007 is 19,500 euros. There are 54 trophies to be won in 17 events.
May 15, 2007	Competitors from 30 countries now registered.
May 15, 2007	There will be a qualification round on Friday morning for Rubik's Cube.
May 12, 2007	Novotel Budapest Congress will be the venue of the world championship and the official competition hotel. Update to all pages.
May 11, 2007	On Friday there may be extra qualification rounds for some main events (probably 3x3, 4x4, one-handed, 3x3 blindfolded). There will be no extra rounds for the other events.
