RA of 69 solves; I set this a while ago (before Princeton Open) but I didn't want to post this until later after C3. I used Joy Cube and only 9.40 was lucky (PLL skip hehe). I still can't get sub 10 average easily of course not even to say sub 11s unless I really focus (which most of the time I am not). That will probably be my goal to practice until I can get these times without too much effort (like Nakajima).

I feel a little guitly about posting this. Three of the solves (10.53 8.66 and 9.43) had PLL skips. I am definitely not this fast consistently and guys like Nakajima Mitsuki Edouard Harris and Andrew Kang are all way better than me. One of you guys better beat this! My normal average is 11-12. I will do something like that in competition eventually!

This is my third sub 13 average, and for the first time without a lucky case. SD=1.212 which is far more consistent than normal. My global average is probably in the high 14s since I mess up way too much for someone at my speed. I solve F2L at 5 moves per second with almost no delay, I prefer being fast and dumb (I gave up on multi-slotting but the funny thing is I can start on any color). I feel like I could hit 12.5 if my cube never locks up.

Wow. I just lubed my cube. This is with no lock-ups and relaxed focus. It took a while to push my times under 14. But I saw it possible- I think the 24 hour marathon attempt helped actually. I do think that our cubes hold the potential for fast times. This was not a rolling average and none of these times were lucky. It seems a sub-14 average requires a different philosophy. I did this back in September and was reluctant to post it since it's nearly a second faster than my next best average. I post now to keep Nate Christian's trash talk to a minimum. No lucky solves but I did have a disproportionate number of PLL that were simple edge cycles. This may end up being my last record submission. (Lions)

I hadn't cubed in a while (more like a week or so) so I thought I'd do a couple for fun. The 15 was a PLL skip besides that no lucky cases (I don't know if easy extended crosses count). I guess the best practice is no practice. (LIONS)

I lost my really good cube at the end of the summer but i picked up a different cube and started working with it. It's not as good as the old cube but still very good perhaps better in some ways. These solves were just very good: very smooth and a couple lucky ones too. If I recall the 15.73 was something like an LL skip even though the F2L wasn't all that great. Or maybe something else was an LL skip and that one was one where I finished off with an edge switcher. Usually along the way I mess up a couple solves and get some 22's and 23's but here I managed to get 12 in a row without messing it up. I suppose I did well this time because I had sufficient light in the computer room to see ahead. Nate and Winokur I'm catching up. (Lions)
