The Dutch Open 2007 is organised by Speedcubing.com together with World Cube Association, Dutch Cubists Club (NKC) and volunteers.
The competition on Sunday will be held during Dutch Cube Day 2007, a big international gathering of puzzle fans, which includes a puzzle market and some lectures.
The competition on Saturday will be held in the same room, but without any other festivities.

During the championship the official WCA regulations will be applied.
Results of the championship will be added to the official WCA World Rankings.
Before the competition starts all competitors can practice on the official timing equipment: the Stackmat timer.
All puzzle brands may be used during the competition, as long as the puzzles comply to the WCA regulations.

All competitors must be available for scrambling and judging. The scrambling and judging will be done in groups per event. The organiser will inform you about where you have to fulfil scrambling and judging tasks.

We recommend you to stay at the Eindhoven Holiday Inn hotel on Saturday night. This hotel is next to Eindhoven train station and close to the venue.
We expect that many cubers will stay at that hotel. And there is a lobby where we can meet on Friday and Saturday night.
This hotel has a room rate of 99 euros (Park Stay and Go rate) per room per night. With four persons in one room, that is 24.75 euros per person, not including local tax (3.50 per person) and breakfast (10 euro).
Check out the hotel website for information and bookings.
If you want to share a room with someone else, then please send an e-mail to Ron.

Competitors coming from abroad can contact Ron. We may help you find a cheap place to stay.
